MY GRANDMOTHER

My grandmother lived in small town far away. I had to take bus in the morning in order to visit her and I stayed with her for two days until next day evening. She was always waiting for me and the table was always full. She lived in one room full of her things - mostly dishes and vases, flowers and glasses. We stayed inside. She hardly could walk so we were sitting she was telling stories while eating the grapes. I knew her stories by heart, but it was interesting to listen to it again and again. I could draw while she was talking. Lino cuts are based according these drawings.
